Investor/RT 12.6 features an improved user interface with redesigned button icons for the main toolbar, layout toolbar, charting toolbar, and others. The toolbar buttons have been professionally redesigned with a more simplified modern look and provide a clean visual response upon hover or mouse down events. Object toolbars (for charts, TPO charts, quotepages, etc) can be viewed with standard (small) or larger style buttons. By default, icon buttons are rendered in a more subdued fashion in grayscale and toolbars use the larger sized buttons.

This video explains the many purposes of the Button Indicator. The Button Indicator enables the user to create customized buttons within a chart. Each button can perform some useful function with a single click. For example: change the periodicity, symbol, session, or view period of the chart; change the style, scaling, size or background color of the chart. Buttons can toggle user-specified indicators on/off in the chart or initiate customized drawing tools. Custom trading button can send pre-defined trading orders to your broker.
