I use Background = Volume Profile and Color = Volume Shaded (Chart)
Where Volume Shaded (Chart) schema draws its color from? I tried to play with different color setting in the chart Preferences, but this did not affect VolumeCandles in any way.

What I also found is that for some colors, but not all, some volume blocks are colored differently. Please see attached. This does not happen always, but I did not find any patterns what colors are affected. Not sure if this is by design or due to some bug.

I believe that is simply identifying the highest volume at price in the visible area. Does that seem to line up with what you're seeing?
Could be, but then the question still remains -- why it works with some colors and does not with others? Another words, the behavior is not uniform.
Good Catch. This was actually an obscure bug that happened only when specific colors and only with the combination of profile settings you were using. I have fixed this issue in VolumeCandles 4.3 which should be available soon.
