The CustomNakedLevels RTX Extension (CNL) is designed to display the closest naked levels produced by an RTL Custom Indicator. On each bar, the indicator looks back and finds the closest custom indicator level/value (closest in value to the bar prices), where that level is still naked going into that bar. CNL locates the closest prior custom indicator value that has not touched the bar values since that bar began forming. The indicator has user preferences for terminating each naked level either when the level touches the high-low range of the bar or when the current price of the bar moves through the custom level. There is also an option to Reset Each Session, whereby any custom indicator naked levels from prior sessions end when a new session begins, i.e. custom naked levels are drawn considering only the levels and bar prices within each session. The indicator can optionally display the Closest Naked Levels (both above and below) or just those above, or just those below. CustomNakedLevels is especially useful when backtesting using custom price levels such as prior fractal lows/high, zig zag pivots, and POC. In such backtesting scenarios, there are many prior key levels and the trading system needs access to the closest naked levels at any given time. The closest naked level can then be used to trigger a trading action at that price level.
